nyerm is Lonnon Foster’s little corner of the web. Lonnon is a visual artist, coder, and writer who lives in beautiful Seattle, Washington. He enjoys many of the traditional pursuits of geeks everywhere: video games, LEGO, science fiction, and recreational hacking, to name a few. He works at a little company in Redmond called XKL, LLC.

What happened to Tribblescape?

If you followed a link from tribblescape.com to get here, you’re still in the right place. After nearly a decade of hosting a site at that domain, I finally tired of repeatedly typing its cumbersome name. The new name, nyerm, came to me in a rare flash of inspiration when I was attempting to find a replacement that’s short, memorable, and easy to type.

nyerm runs on the WordPress publishing platform, and it is styled with a modified version of the richly semantic Sandbox theme. Development takes place in a mishmash of editors, including TextMate on Mac OS X, e on Windows Vista, and GNU Emacs on Debian Linux. Images are produced in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
