Penny Arcade is responsible time and again for emptying my wallet by sending me to discover games I don’t currently own. This time, their seductive banner ads have sent me to gaze upon the wonder that is Alias SketchBook Pro 2. I’m intrigued by the concept of an art program that’s actually centered around using a pen interface. In theory, it uses gestures and other pen-specific voodoo to make for a more natural drawing experience.
I’ve got the 15-day trial downloaded and installed. Time to play with it and figure out if I need to blame Gabriel and Tycho for yet another purchase.
