Once Upon a Dime presents a little Flash game called 12 Pixel Heroes, in which you are asked to identify superheroes who have been reduced to a three by four grid of colored squares. I was able to identify 19 of the 21 heroes presented, despite the low resolution.
It says something about the visual impact of comic book heroes that, even reduced to such crude likenesses, most of them are still recognizable. It probably also says something about how much time I’ve squandered reading comic books.
