It’s not the flying car I was promised by earlier generations of authors and advertisers. It’s cooler than a flying car. It’s the Bombardier Embrio, a single-wheel vehicle that uses gyroscopic stabilization like the Segway Human Transporter to keep it from tipping over. It’s also powered by a hydrogen fuel cell and weighs a mere 360 pounds.
Unfortunately, it’s only a concept vehicle. I applaud Bombardier for its radical forward-thinking design, though. It’s great to see something that isn’t a box on wheels for a change.
