Joe Maddalone of Insert Title Web Designs has an intriguing method for installing multiple versions of Internet Explorer on the same Windows system. This is a major boon to Web designers, as it obviates the need for installing different copies of Windows on different partitions (or even different machines) for testing. Joe has IE 5.01, 5.5, and 6.0 coexisting peacefully under Windows XP Professional.
I may have to try this trick when I get the chance. It’s non-destructive, and one of the cleverest Windows hacks I’ve seen.
