Earlier this morning, Boing Boing appeared to be down (or it just wasn’t available over the lovely connection I have at work). However, at the moment, it’s displaying the strange page pictured here, which leads me to think they might have been hacked.
I hope I’m wrong; Boing Boing is home to some of the nicest folks on the net, and I’d hate to think that some malicious yahoo doesn’t have anything better to do than to damage one of the finest collaborative blogs on the Web.
UPDATE After a little more digging, it looks like boingboing.net is currently redirecting to freedonia.com. Plugging the image directory from the weird page displayed at boingboing.net (http://boingboing.net/goodgood/) produces an error 500 page at freedonia.com instead of boingboing.net.
