Adam Kalsey has an excellent article on fixing Movable Type’s “remember me” mechanism. The JavaScript produced by Movable Type doesn’t handle “remember me” cookies across different portions of a domain (www.site.com versus site.com). MT also doesn’t set the checkbox if the user has already checked it, prompting some users to click it every single time, getting more and more frustrated that the check box doesn’t “stick”.
Now I just need a little time to implement it on my own site. Good, easy-to-follow instructions from Adam should make it a snap.
