As a kid, I often dreamed of my small army of LEGO astronaut minifigs exploring strange new worlds, seeking out new life and new civilizations, and boldly splitting infinitives where none had been split before. Now, for a pair of minifigs, that dream is a reality. The Planetary Society is sending two LEGO astronauts on NASA’s Mars Exploration Rover mission, and they even have their own weblog to chronicle their experience.
