If I had a Bluetooth hookup between my CLIÉ and my phone (not impossible technically, only financially improbable for the time being), this could be a great moblogging option for me. Michael Gratton has created a weblog client called Azure that runs under the J2ME Java virtual machine. A number of mobile phones already support J2ME, and there’s also a Palm OS version. Azure hooks up to Movable Type blogs (like this one), and Michael has plans for other blogging systems in the future.
It looks like Azure has already received some favorable feedback. I’ll have to give it a whirl, just as soon as I get off my butt and buy myself a Bluetooth Memory Stick.
