Seattle Weblogs

I just found out that I’m listed on Seattle Weblogs, an aggregation site for weblogs in the Seattle area. This gives me another place to ping when I post to my blog. It’s a great site if you’re interested in Seattle and the wacky people who live here.

I particularly love the site’s map display, which pinpoints blog locations based on their GeoURL data. Whoever submitted me to the Seattle Weblogs site quite literally put me on the map.

Update: I should actually read all of a damn page before posting about it. Here I am wondering how I wound up on the Seattle Weblogs page, when it’s designed and developed by Michael Montoure, who I’ve known for years.

D’oh.

So, um, thanks for adding me to the page, Michael. I appreciate it. And it’s a fantastic site, to boot.

    Heh. You’re quite welcome.

It’s really strange to me that you were pretty much the only person who ended up on the site because I know them in person; I would have thought that in our extended social circle of geeks, more of the people we know would have gravitated toward blogging, but it doesn’t look like it.

Glad you like the site  —  I’ve had a lot of fun putting it together, and I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out.
