I posted a blog entry a while back about Taylor McKnight’s great collection of tiny link buttons for Web sites. Not only has Taylor’s collection grown to a whopping 381 images, Metafilter has an article that provides links to other resources for tiny link button afficionados.
Of particular interest is Bill Zeller’s automated button maker, a PHP script that generates custom tiny buttons. With the addition of Adam Kalsey’s GUI front-end, you’ll be churning out custom buttons by the dozens.
I’ve been considering making some of my own buttons in the same style, simply because they look very nice and take up little space on a page. However, I didn’t have a tiny bitmap font for the job. No worry; the same MetaFilter article has a link to Silkscreen, Jason Kottke’s free tiny font.
The fact that I’m so excited about all of this is powerful affirmation of my geektitude.

All those links could’ve been found on the “Make One” Page (http://gtmcknight.com/buttons/make.html) all along :D But glad you found them and enjoy the buttons!
You mean, I should actually click those linky thingies at the top of your page? Damn. Why didn’t I think of that? :)
If I had more time, my blog would already be littered with buttons from your page. Great resource, Taylor.
