My wife and I went to Portland, Oregon a couple weekends ago, and while we were there, we visited the Portland Classical Chinese Garden. The walled garden occupies a city block smack in the middle of Portland’s Chinatown, and it’s a breath of tranquility amidst the bustle of the city.
I ran across the picture completely by accident, looking over my shoulder as the tour group we were following moved on to the next section of the garden. I really like the juxtaposition of modern highrise and ancient moon arch.
