What a great idea: turning numeric IP addresses into something a little more poetic. Nambers provide just such a system.
Instead of the boring old 66.33.208.206 address for this site, it becomes dry.cake.sound.snow.mysteryrobot.com. There’s something almost haiku-like about this system.
It looks like the mysteryrobot.com DNS server isn’t currently working (the link provided above doesn’t actually work), but it’s a nifty idea, nonetheless.
