I heard about this site on NPR a day or two ago: Rob Cockerham’s How Much is Inside?. In a series of very entertaining and somewhat scientific experiments, Rob demonstrates problems of scale in easy-to-grasp real-world terms. How much cereal is in a box of Cheerios? How big is an acre, really? And my favorite, just because of the vast amount of math and effort Rob expended: how many Union 76 antenna balls will fit in a Chevy Trailblazer?
